Oracle's Redwood user experience (UX) introduces a modern, streamlined interface that does not carry over extensibility configurations made via Transaction Design Studio (TDS). If you’ve configured business rules, validations, or field display logic using TDS in the responsive UI, these settings will not be recognized or applied in Redwood pages.
To achieve equivalent functionality, you must manually recreate all rules in Business Rules using Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio). Business Rules in VB Studio serve as the new framework for controlling field behavior, visibility, defaulting, and validations on Redwood pages.
This manual recreation is essential to ensure a seamless and consistent experience in the new Redwood UI. It's also an opportunity to re-evaluate and optimize your existing logic as you transition to Oracle’s next-gen user experience framework.
