Business Unit Overview

There is no such thing as a physical entity or physical organization, but you can logically make any organizational level in your business into a business unit. For instance, I have a customer who has a domestic sales business as well as an international business. This customer never wants the people working in international business to be separated from the people working in domestic business.

So my domestic employee should not see what is happening on the international sales side how much sales is happening, how much revenue is getting because the international sales business I don’t want that information visible to domestic sales employees, same way international sales employee should see what is happening on the domestic sales side, so you can make two different business unit domestic sales and international sales and put your employee accordingly so that now you can have the transactional securities of the data between these two business units, so you can have business unit at any level your division level if you want to partition the transactional data I don’t want what is happening in one product business should be visible to other product people, so you can do that, or within the same country I have multiple legal employers or multiple legal entities so between legal entities I want that security then you can do it at the legal entity level or department wise if you want to do that you can do department as the business unit so you can create business unit at any level based on your requirement how you want the transactional data should secured against each other.
