Do customers and partners need to supply their data in a specific format for HCM Data Loader (HDL)?

The data loader currently has support for a file format that uses pipe delimiters. In this format, all the data related to a particular business object can be included in a single file. For example, if you're migrating employee data, you can include the person information, work relationship details, and assignment data in the same file.

To deliver your business object files, they need to be packaged in a compressed zip file. Optionally, you can choose to encrypt the zip file for added security. It's also possible to include multiple business object files within the same zip file.

When using HCM Data Loader, it automatically understands the correct order in which your files need to be processed. This ensures that reference data is loaded before any data that depends on it, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
