Do Express Mode or Business Rules Changes Need to Be Re-Deployed After P2T?

A P2T refresh replaces the database of the test pod, which can cause Express Mode or Business Rules configurations to disappear from the UI, even though the data is still safely stored in VB Studio. You don’t need to recreate them—just re-run the VB Studio pipeline to deploy the changes again.

As a best practice, Oracle recommends using VB Studio with a pod not impacted by frequent P2Ts. If you must use a TEST pod, remember that your VB Studio access depends on the pod’s availability. Always ensure you’re ready to re-deploy configurations after P2T to restore any overwritten customizations.
