How to create the Descriptive Flexfield (DFF) in Document Record (DOR)

Navigate to "Setup and Maintenance."

In the "Setup and Maintenance" page, search "Document Types" task and search the required document type where you want to create the dff and then get the System Document Type id. That will help you to map your DFF with the document type.

Navigate to "Setup and Maintenance." and search "Document Type Descriptive Flexfields"

In the "Document Type Descriptive Flexfields" page, click the pencil icon.

Click on the "Manage Contexts" button

Click on "+" to create the DFF in the document record

Enter the Display name and enter the System Document Type id in "Context Code" and the system will automatically enter the API name

Once you have entered the details then click on Save

Add now follow the new dff creation process
