How to Enable Global Search in Oracle HCM

1. Requirement:

Enabling Global Search in Oracle HCM allows users to quickly find employees, tasks, and records within the system.

2. Steps to Enable Global Search:

  1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance.
  2. Search for Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  3. Look for the FUSION_APPS_SEARCH_ENABLED profile option.
  4. In the Profile Value field, enter Y to enable global search.
  5. Click Save and Close.
  6. Sign out and sign in again for the changes to take effect.
