How to Hide End User Web Link or In-App URL in Notification

Email content and formatting for configurable Workflow Notifications are generally controlled by BI Publisher templates. However, depending on setup in BPM Worklist, some additional HTLM snippets may be appended by default to the final HTML content, including an Access this task in the Workspace Application message at the top of the email notifications. Such text may cause email to not render well, especially when viewed from mobile devices.
It is recommended to verify the setup of workflow tasks for which Configurable Workflow Notifications were enabled.
1. Click the Notification icon in the global header and click the More Details button.
2. In the BPM worklist click your username and select Administration.
3. Open the task Configuration tab
4. Search for the relevant workflow task, for example:
· FinExmWorkflowExpenseApproval
· FinApInvoiceApproval
For a complete list of email notifications along with associated workflow tasks refer to the relevant product guide, e.g. Implementing Common Features for Financials Cloud.
5. Select the task, and click the Edit task icon.
6. Open the Notification subtab, and expand the More section.
7. Make sure the Hide End user Web URL in notification check box is selected.
Test the workflow and verify that the email notification does not include the Access this task in the Workspace Application message.
