How to Upload Lookup Values in Lookup Type

Step 1 – Go to Setup and Maintenance

Step 2 – Click on Search

Step 3 – Search Manage Common Lookup and Click on Manage Common Lookups

Create a New lookup type or Search for the existing one.

Step 5 – Click on the Plus button to create a Lookup type

Step 6 – Fill in the details of Lookup type, Meaning, and Select Module – HR à Click on Save

Once the Lookup type has been created and the Same lookup type, we will use it for uploading the values

Sample File Format

Now, We will upload the Lookup value file.

Step 7 – Go to Navigation à. Click on Tools à Click on File Import and Export.

Step 8 – Click on the Plus button à. Chose the file for uploading lookup value à Account – Select hcm/data loader/import à Click on Save and Close

Step 8 – Again, Go to Setup and Maintenance à. Click on Search à Search Manage Common Lookups.

Search Created Lookup type – ABC_ZXY.

Step 9 – Click on Action à Click on Import.

Step 10 – Account Select - hcm/data loader/import

Lookup type file – Enter txt File Name

Lookup code file – Enter txt file name

Step 11 – Click on upload à Once Import Progress is completed à Click on the X sign, à wait for some time to upload the data.

Once data is uploaded, log out and log in. Check the data.
