Inactivating User Accounts Using Auto provisioning

If you want all roles and user account to be automatically removed from employees upon termination, you must ensure the Autoprovision rule mapping has "HR Assignment Status = Active".

Restricting role provision to "HR Assignment Status = Active" will ensure that only active employees have roles assigned and thus their user account would be suspended once they have no roles assigned.

Create a job role if not created
Navigator > Security Console > Create Role
Create a data role if not created
Setup and Maintenance > Task > Search > Manage Data Roles and Security Profiles > Create > Select Created Job Role Submit

1. Login with a system admin account.
2. Go to 'Setup and Maintenance' through the navigator.
3. Click on Search from a task and enter “Manage HCM Role Provisioning Rules
4. Search Created Mapping by name
5. Select the value in User Person Type = Employee, System Person Type = Emp
6. Select the value in HR Assignment Status = 'Active'.
7. Add created role then Save and Close.
8. Go to 'Scheduled Processes' through the navigator.
9. Click on “Schedule New Process”
10. Search “Autoprovision Roles for All Users” and Submit then run the ESS job and it will remove all roles from the users and inactivate their user account.
