Purpose of Learning Evaluations
- Used to collect feedback from learners after they complete a learning offering.
- Applicable to self-paced, instructor-led, and blended offerings.
- Delivered as questionnaires and shown automatically upon course completion.
Steps to Implement Learning Evaluations:

Create Evaluation Questionnaires
- Develop individual questions (text, single-choice, multiple-choice).
- Create a questionnaire template to structure how evaluations appear.
- Build a questionnaire using selected questions and the template.
- Assign a default evaluation questionnaire for each offering type.

Evaluation Options in Offerings
- Use default evaluation: Applies a standard questionnaire across offerings.
- Use another evaluation: Override the default with a specific questionnaire.
- Mark evaluations as Required or Optional:
- Required: Learners must complete it before being marked as complete.
- Optional: Completion status is not affected by evaluation submission.

View and Monitor Evaluations
- Filter offerings with evaluations from the Learning Catalog.
- Check evaluation completion via Learners info tile → Manage Activities.
Create Questions for Learning Evaluations
- Navigate to:
Setup and Maintenance → Workforce Development → Questionnaires → Manage Question Library
- Choose Learning Evaluation as the subscriber.
- Question Types:
- Text (plain/rich text)
- Single Choice
- Multiple Choice
- No Response (for instructions only)
- Configure response format, scoring, feedback, and attachments.
Create Questionnaire Templates
- Navigate to:
Setup and Maintenance → Workforce Development → Questionnaires → Manage Questionnaire Templates
- Choose Learning Evaluations as the subscriber.
- Set properties:
- Instructions and help text
- Question and response order (Sequential/Random)
- Layout (one/two columns)
- Section presentation
- Response types allowed
- Enable or restrict additional question inclusion and editing options.
- Save as Active for usage.
Set Default Evaluation Questionnaire for Offerings
- Navigate to:
My Client Groups → Learning → Setup → Evaluations tab → Edit
- Enable evaluation, select a questionnaire, set it as required if needed.
Use/Add Evaluation Questionnaire in Offerings
- Navigate to:
My Client Groups → Learning → Learning Catalog → Offerings tab → Select Offering → Definition tile → Edit → Activities tab
- Enable evaluation and either:
- Use default evaluation
- Use another evaluation → Add Evaluation → Select Questionnaire → Apply → Save
Evaluation vs. Assessment
- Evaluation: Collects feedback from learners about the offering.
- Assessment: Tests learners’ knowledge of the course material.
