In order to restrict participants from accessing the performance document to begin or continue providing feedback, managers and HR specialists can lock participant feedback requests. Managers can do this, for instance, if they have enough feedback to finish evaluating employees or if there are more participants than needed. The feedback request cannot be unlocked after it has been locked.
When you lock a participant's request for feedback, the task to offer feedback for that participant switches status to Locked out. The participant feedback requests for others section of the Performance pages no longer includes the worker's name. The participant must get a new request for feedback if the manager, employee, or HR specialist decides to get more input from them.
