Not able to find the employee in the person management after cancel the work relationship of an employee

Since you have canceled the Work relationship, all the employment details got purged but the person details still remain in the system. All you need to do is perform a New Hire again and let the system identify the matching person records so that you can select the existing person and create a new Work relationship.
