Recruiting Process Life Cycle

This is a brief overview of the hiring process in any company or organization.

 

  • The process starts with the hiring manager initiating a job requisition, which is essentially a request to fill a job opening. The recruiter then completes the job requisition and posts it on various job boards and the company's career section.

 

  • The sourcer is responsible for creating campaigns and candidate pools, which involves actively searching for potential candidates who may be a good fit for the job. The candidates will see the posted requisition in the career section and apply if they are interested.

 

  • The recruiter and collaborator manage the candidates' responses, review resumes, and shortlist candidates who are qualified for the position. They also arrange the interview activity and coordinate with the hiring manager to ensure that everyone is available for the scheduled interviews.

 

  • The recruiter and hiring manager conduct the interviews and collect feedback from the interviewers. The recruiter then creates and extends a job offer to the chosen candidate.

 

  • The collaborator finalizes the pre-hire tasks, such as verifying references and conducting background checks, while the candidate views and accepts the offer electronically and completes pre-hire tasks.

 

  • Finally, the HR specialist completes the onboarding processes and assigns the new employee to the appropriate department within the organization.
