Definition: A role mapping rule is an automation rule by which we can assign a role to the user automatically, and this can be any role.
Steps to create role mapping
First, we need to create a role mapping rule based on any condition like a legal employer, business unit, department etc.
Navigation
1. My Client Groups
2. Workforce Structures
3. Data Role section
4. Role Mappings
5. Click on Create
6. Add conditions based on the requirement
7. Add the required role in the Associated Roles section
8. Click on Save and Close
Cross Verify to check if the role mapping rule is working or not
9. Hire an Employee based on the condition that we used in role mapping
After hiring an employee then we need to check from the security console if the user has been assigned the required role or not.
If it has been assigned the required role then it working as excepted.
