In the talent review module after the performance appraisal is completed generally all
the managers who have the subordinates and already whom they have rated will set together
in a meeting room and you will have a talent review dashboard, a talent review dashboard
consist of some box chart and all the managers will set together and they will have a
review of what they have rated their workers as a combined discussion and during that time
you are evaluating once again the people and if there are any changes somebody you have
rated 3 but in the talent review meeting it was discussed and probably you want to make
him 4 or 5 and that is one part of the talent review meeting another thing is that is the
the time when you are going to identify potential people in your organization who are high
performers at the same time you will also identify those people who are low performers
and you will have a problem with both those who are medium that is fine but somebody is
very low performers probably you give them some chances to improve their performance in
the coming year and those who are high performers with the risk of loss, the impact of
loss is also we need to consider because somebody is a very talented and very high performing
person very potential person that person is always likely to leave your organization because
somebody who is having sufficient knowledge, sufficient skills, sufficient potential why
they stick to one organization if some other organization offers some other good packages of
compensation they will resign from here and go because they are already having enough
knowledge where ever they want to go they can fetch and they can go so there is always
risk of loss is very high with the high performers because anytime somebody can attract
them and they can leave the same way when they leave your organization they will put a lot of
the impact we called it is the impact of loss so in the talent review meeting that will be discussed
and those who are the high performer or high potential people we try to keep with
organization and how you will try to keep them in the organization so you have to give
them some special task some special assignment so it will attractive for them or you need
to increase some compensation some special allowance and all you have to give some rewards
that is the reason most organizations will have best employee awards or employee of
the month or some like that.
