- Always download your sandbox before you publish it and keep the zip file in a safe place in case you need to re-import the sandbox at a later date. It is a good idea to keep a spreadsheet where the first column is in the sandbox name is followed by a column for each environment used on your project. As you import and publish each sandbox in a specific environment, record the date in the spreadsheet.
- Once you have downloaded your sandbox, check to ensure the file size is not 0 bytes. This is a good indication that your sandbox really does contain your personalization.
