Display Name:
The Display Name is the name that appears in the user interface or on various screens throughout Oracle Fusion HCM. It's primarily used for identification purposes and is often a combination of the person's first name and last name. For example, if the person's full name is "John Smith," the display name might be "John Smith" as well.
Full Name:
The Full Name refers to the complete name of an individual, usually a combination of their first name, middle name (if applicable), and last name. It provides the most comprehensive identification of a person. In Oracle Fusion HCM, this field may be used to store the complete name of an employee, manager, or any other person recorded in the system.
List Name:
The List Name is an option available in Oracle Fusion HCM to customize how a person's name appears in specific lists or reports. It allows users to configure the name format according to their preferences. For instance, a user might choose to display the full name, last name, or first name, or even include titles or suffixes in the list name.
Order Name:
The format in which the name is recorded or sorted in the database is referred to as the Order Name. It is usually determined by cultural norms and geographical preferences. Names are ordered differently in different nations or regions, such as "First Name - Last Name" in Western countries or "Last Name - First Name" in some Asian countries.
